“Mother’s Tea for Healthy Babies”
Presented by the Coalition for Alcohol & Drug Free Pregnancies (CADFP)
in collaboration with VMC Foundation, Santa Clara Count Public Health Department and Department of Alcohol & Drug Services
Proceeding from the event will be used towards developing resources for the prevention and treatment regarding Alcohol, Drugs and Other Drugs use during pregnancy to prevent fetal alcohol spectrum disorders and other related under-diagnosed learning disorders.

Coalition for Alcohol & Drug Free Pregnancies (CADFP)
The Coalition for Alcohol & Drug Free Pregnancies (CADFP) is a County-wide effort, funded by Santa Clara County’s Department of Public Health, Department of Alcohol & Drug Services, and FIRST 5 Santa Clara County. The Coalition includes members of the medical community and public and private organizations concerned with the adverse health and mental health impacts of alcohol, tobacco and other drug (ATOD) use during pregnancy. Research continues to demonstrate that drinking and the use of tobacco and other drugs during pregnancy have not declined. Substance use-related birth defects are completely preventable. CADFP was established to unify efforts to raise awareness and change local practices to reduce the number of babies born exposed to ATOD’s. For more information please visit www.cadfp.org.
